'I didn't understand that work at the start of the lesson but I get it now' said one of my year tens at the end of our lesson this morning with a big smile on his face.

It really is wonderful to know you've made a difference. When someone says "Wow, that really helped" without you prompting them to do so, you know you've done well!

So much nicer than 'this is confusing', 'I don't get it' or a plain and simple 'I hate you'
