I want to make clear that I don't condone bullying in any way, shape or form. No one deserves to be picked on, it's just not right.

But sometimes there are pupils who you feel you should take to one side and say 'do yourself a favour.'

In my year sevens there's one boy who gets quite a bit of stick from the other pupils. He doesn't help himself because he makes so many daft comments and pulls odd faces at them. I think it's his way of getting attention and not just blending into the background, but it just winds people up. So when he puts his hand up and says someone's called him a rude name it's not a surprise to hear that he's been prodding the metaphorical tiger.

They shouldn't be rude to him but I wish he would stop and think about what he could be doing to make his own life easier.
